3 tidbits

1.  I am a complete Sci-Fi dork.  We’re talking old school Star Trek, Merlin, Legend of the Seeker, Dr. Who…you get the picture.  My husband refuses to watch them with me.  He basically says my streaming consists of Masterpiece Theatre, nerd stuff, and cop shows.

2.  I had very long hair as a girl (like, amish long) until I was 8.  Then, I begged my mom to let me cut my hair into a style the salon book called “The Sugarplum”.  Think Dorothy Hamill.

3.  I’m not entirely comfortable with Pinterest crafts involving toilet paper rolls due to the part of the process where the roll was near a toilet.  You can take off the nurse uniform, but……

Ok, don’t just leave me sitting here embarrassed at sharing my deep love of Captain Kirk. I’d love to hear 3 tidbits about you, and they don’t even have to be embarrassing.

  1. Tobi says:

    1. I like lemon flavored things but not overly fond of actual lemons. I love strawberries but hate strawberry flavored anything.

    2. My two favorite singers growing up were Crystal Gayle and Whitney Houston. Pretty sure I based my love for them solely on the fact they had super long hair :) I didn’t buy my first cassette tape until I was 18 (it was Sheryl Crow).

    3. I had a similar experience with hairstyles. My hair was long and straight down to my but until 3rd grade when I begged my mom to let me cut it and perm it. She decided it would be a good idea to have my aunt do it for me. This was not the best laid plan. Needless to say, it was a disaster and I spent the better part of third grade looking like a poodle. That was my last perm.

Wow! I could go on and on but I must get to work. Hope to see you soon.
